The Kirkland Arts Center (KAC) makes every effort to meet the needs of its students. However, KAC adheres to a strict refund policy. Refunds for class cancellations are available only, less a $20 bank fee, if notification of class cancellation is received ten (10) or more days prior to the class start. Registrants who cancel a class less than ten (10) days prior to the beginning of class will receive a 50% credit toward their next class, which must be used within one (1) year of the cancellation. No portion of class fees will be refunded or credited after the first class. Notification of Art Camp cancellation must be received 28 business days prior to the beginning of the camp.
Submission of the registration form constitutes the registrant’s acceptance of all terms and conditions stated in the catalog, thereby discharging and holding harmless the Kirkland Arts Center (KAC) et al, and granting permission for use of student images and art work for promotional purposes. Submission of registration also implies an acknowledgment of an agreement to the KAC cancellation policy (on left). KAC reserves the right to cancel any class or workshop, in which case applicants will receive a full refund of fees paid to KAC. In the event that an instructor is unable to perform their duties as originally scheduled, KAC reserves the right to reschedule any class or workshop, and/or replace any instructor, without refund to the student. In the event of unreasonable conduct, we reserve the unconditional right to terminate a student’s enrollment without refund.
KAC offers work-study to students with financial need
In exchange for the completion of 30 hours of work at KAC, work-study students receive one class registration. Work-study must be completed one quarter prior to the start of class. Materials fees and other associated expenses are not included in work-study credit. Please contact KAC staff for an application and details at 425-822-7161.
