Watercolors
I use Daniel Smith Watercolors. Professional paints are a bit more expensive but the colors are vibrant and the tubes last a long time. I always say splurge on the paints and you can’t go wrong.
Any other colors you have or want to bring is up to you but these are the “must haves”.
- Hansa Yellow Med.
- Quinacridone Coral
- Sepia
- Burnt Sienna
- Burnt Umber
- Manganese Blue
- Sap Green
- {Extras} French Ultramarine
Brushes
Have at least these 3 brushes any others are up to you. Make sure they have a nice point to the brush. Daniel Smith Synthetic Squirrel (very inexpensive and nice) Round 8 and 12
Winsor Newton Regency Gold 1in or any 1in. Flat Brush
Paper
Strathmore Watercolor paper 11x14 ish size pad. And 1 sheet of Arches 140lbs ( 22x30 ), we will cut it down.
Other Supplies
2 HB or H Pencils
Any Portable Watercolor Palette (Metal or Plastic at least 12 wells )
Water Container
