Youth & Teen Classes

Arts education provides learning to develop vital, essential cognitive and experiential skills for all. Youth and teens learn foundational art skills and stretch their creative thinking in a friendly, encouraging environment with inspirational teachers. Kids may explore everything from drawing and painting to ceramics and animation in small classes or workshops with a lot of individual instructor attention.

KAC offers youth and teen classes. They are generally scheduled on weekends or after school hours. Browse our online Class Catalog to see what youth classes we’re offering each quarter.  During some quarters we may have a wider selection of classes from which to choose than others.

Teens age 14 and over are welcome to register for adult classes and workshops. Some restrictions or further guidelines may apply for Live Figure drawing, for example, where nude models are used, a parental/guardian waiver may be required. Contact registrar@kirklandartscenter.org for information.
