Drew Nicklas is a recent MFA graduate from Montana State University where he worked with Josh DeWeese. He specializes in large vessels and utilitarian pottery. Recently he has been exploring reduction cooled surfaces in both wood and soda fired pottery. Along with a national ceramic show record, he has taught ceramics at the college level as well as led community classes and workshops throughout the west.
