Paul Lewing has been working with clay and glazes since 1965 and has taught workshops in 47 states so far. He was once the "Glaze Doctor" at the NCECA conference and his work appears in several glaze textbooks. He is the author of "China Paint & Overglaze" and is well known for his expertise in china painting as well as glaze chemistry. His work has been included in numerous juried and invitational shows and is represented in collections such as the Archie Bray Foundation, Appalachian Center for Crafts, and the Danish Royal Museum.
