FAQ's
Can the curator's work be included in their proposed exhibit?
Due to grant requirements, KAC Gallery cannot accept proposals by curators who are in their exhibit.
What costs does the KAC Gallery cover?
All guest curators are paid a stipend of $400. KAC Gallery also pays for exhibit postcards, mailing and an opening reception. We also seek grants to help pay for additional exhibit expenses.
Do I have to exhibit the work submitted in the exhibit proposal?
The work submitted does not have to be the work exhibited, but for grant, marketing and promotion purposes, we prefer that the work in the proposal be in the exhibit.
Can I submit work samples in slide format?
KAC Gallery no longer accepts slides. All work samples need to be submitted on a CD-rom, see formating guidelines below.
How should digital images be formatted?
Please submit your images as 1800 pixels(largest dimension), 300dpi jpegs. Please include an index sheet that lists the artists name, title, dimensions, medium and year.
