Accessibility

The Peter Kirk Building was built in 1892 and is listed as a National Historic Landmark. Due to the historic nature of the building, the facility is not fully accessible. Our restrooms do have ADA compliant stalls but our only restrooms are located on the second floor; a full flight of stairs are required to reach the restroom from the first and third floors. Many of our doors and halls are narrower than the ADA standard.

Two spaces directly behind Kirkland Arts Center are reserved for disabled parking and quick loading and unloading. Please call ahead if you need ramp access or for further information about accessibility. You can also browse a current list of classes held in our Mezzanine Studio, currently our most accessible classroom.
