Anna-Julia was born in Hamburg, Germany and moved to Seattle in 2013.
After receiving a Masters degree in education and visual arts she worked as a teacher in Brazil, Africa and Germany. When she moved to the US she started teaching, joined a gallery and realized her life long dream to open ANNA’S ART LAB.
Wherever Anna lived, art moved with her. In Brazil for example, she worked in an SOS child development village and portrait many of the kids who lived there, which were later shown in an exhibition in Lüneburg, Germany.
Besides teaching art at Anna’s Art Lab, Anna uses her unique space for herself to create pottery, textile work, to paint and to sculpture.
