Isabelle Hardesty is a Seattle based artist, educator, and writer. She is excited to be teaching at Kirkland Arts Center. She received her B.F.A. from New York’s Pratt Institute. Isabelle Hardesty enjoys teaching students art and does so energetically and engagingly. Learning should be fun and memorable and she makes sure to achieve both during her art lessons. In 2013 Isabelle Hardesty was named the Cobb County School District Elementary School Art Specialist of the Year. With twenty years of teaching experience, she combines her enthusiasm for teaching and her love of art into fun and energetic art lessons, perfect for all ages! Isabelle has been an art teacher in both Georgia and Florida. She lives in Seattle with her husband and son, who are both artists as well.
