Jean Works in watercolor, oil, acrylic, mixed media and sculpts in wood and marble. B.A. in Studio Art, Magna Cum Laude, minor in design. Has taught college and adult education for many years in Southern California and now in Kirkland, at KAC and through the city Parks and Recreation Department. She currently teaches watercolor, oil, and drawing. “I love working in any medium and all subjects. Producing abstract/conceptual keeps me focused on the design elements and composition. I also love doing portraits, landscapes and animals. There is so much for the artist to explore and I encourage my students to try new subjects and media and always search for their own style.” Her paintings are on display at Overlake Hospital and at other public venues though the Evergreen Association of Fine Arts.
