Jes Herrera is a teacher and ceramic artist based out of Kirkland with 20+ years experience working with children, including diverse learning needs. She believes play and exploration are an essential part of learning, and art and play enhance childhood development. When not teaching at the KAC, she enjoys throwing on the wheel, exploring hand-building, and sharing her work at local markets.
