Skylight Room

ArtLuck takes place at the Kirkland Arts Center Skylight Room on the third Friday of each month. Artists come together to share a meal, partake in creatively stimulating peer critiques and exercises, or listen to fun art lectures. Rachel Heu, leader of the Seattle Art Lovers Meetup Group, is the main coordinator for the event.
This past November, ArtLuck featured a musical guest, violinist Raymond C, as well as a talk and printmaking demo by E. Valentine DeWald, instructor of the Mezzotint Print Techniques course this Winter 2015.
ArtLuck will return in January! There will not be an ArtLuck in December. KAC will post the date of the next ArtLuck at the beginning of the winter quarter. Thank you for joining us this fall!
The potluck begins at 6:30pm. You may choose to bring entrees, sides, appetizers, desserts, fruit/veggies or drinks. Join other artists from various visual disciplines including drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, short films, and more. Plan on bringing 2 pieces of work for group critique and discussion.
Artists: Do you have something that you are working on and you want some advice or feedback from other artists and art lovers? ...or do you have a finished piece and you want to have it critiqued by an audience?
Art Lovers: Do you wonder about the technical process of how an art piece comes together? Have you ever taken part in an art critique? It's very interesting. I think it will give you a new perspective on art.
