Shima is a professional contemporary fine artist from London, England. She earned a distinction at The University of Arts London, specializing in Screen Printing and Surface Decoration. Shima employs a vibrant palette of colors, in response to the current political climate which impacts women of color. Her works concern inclusivity of all women encouraging the empowerment of female voices. She works primarily with oils, watercolor, acrylics, 2D relief, and printmaking. Shima’s works have been exhibited internationally in solo and group shows. Her works have also been included in international magazines. Shima has been teaching, and making and selling her works for over 25 years.
Shima will teach an Alcohol Inks workshop.
