Christine Turpin received her MFA from Iowa State University (where she had her own “wet” dark room). While living in Montana, she taught calligraphy and bookmaking to teens in summer programs at Montana State University, to partners at the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, and to third graders in the public school, as well as classes for adults at the Livingston Art and Culture Center. She has done commissioned calligraphic work from maps to memorial pieces. Christine has shown books with the Cincinnati Book Arts Society’s annual Bookworks exhibit. She is currently teaching communications at Lake Washington Institute of Technology.
Christine currently teaches a Calligraphy class.
