KAC offers students currently enrolled in our regular classes additional hours to work and create for free with our open studio program. Workshops generally do not include open studio time.

Ceramics Open Studio

No facilitator. Currently enrolled ceramics students are invited to attend. Sessions are managed by volunteer studio monitors. The Ceramics Open Studio is available for handbuilding and wheel throwing. The Mezzanine Open Studio is available for glazing. Please sign in when you attend open studio.

Printmaking Open Studio

No facilitator. Currently enrolled printmaking students are encouraged to attend. Printmaking students must receive a complete orientation from their instructor prior to using the press and are required to sign in and out on the sheet posted on the south wall of the Printmaking Studio.

Art from Sunday Life drop-in life drawing session

Sunday Life Drawing

$15 fee per session. Only $10 per session for currently enrolled KAC students! Discount punch cards are available – get 10 sessions for $100! Supplies are not included but you may use our easels, tables, drawing horses and boards, or sculpture stands. Sunday Life Drawing is open to the public and registration is not required.

Work from a nude or costumed model during this three hour drop-in life drawing and painting session in our 3rd floor Skylight Studio. Sculptors are also welcome! Every Sunday, we feature a model performing either long or short poses. Sunday Life Drawing is currently facilitated by Stephen Cheng and Loren Medberg; instruction is not provided.
