KAC offers students currently enrolled in our regular classes additional hours to work and create for free with our open studio program. Workshops generally do not include open studio time.

Changes to our open studio schedule will be posted below and on our announcements page.

Ceramics Open Studio

Currently enrolled ceramics students are invited to attend, but must sign up online through the link provided by instructors. Students need not signup to drop off or pick up work. Sessions are managed by volunteer studio monitors. The Ceramics Open Studio is available for handbuilding and wheel throwing. The Mezzanine Open Studio is available for glazing.

Fall 2020

Drop-In Figure Drawing is Not Available for Fall 2020

Drop-in Figure Drawing

$15 fee per session. Only $10 per session for currently enrolled KAC students! Discount punch cards are available – get 10 sessions for $100! Supplies are not included but you may use our easels, tables, drawing horses and boards, or sculpture stands. Drop-In Figure Drawing is open to the public and registration is not required.

Work from a nude or costumed model during this three hour drop-in life drawing and painting session in our 3rd floor Skylight Studio. Sculptors are also welcome! Every Sunday, we feature a model performing either long or short poses. Drop-In Figure Drawing is currently facilitated by Stephen Cheng and Loren Smedberg; instruction is not provided.
